The products infiltrate into all cracks, ensuring a complete seal around screw-heads, bolt holes and corner details, while also providing excellent adhesion without shrinkage and cracking. Using a controlled flow silicone sealant instead of a non-sag version can reduce material usage, labor and cost by an average of 40 percent with no tooling. The 896-TBS-SSL is the first fast-cure, self-leveling sealant to adhere to the new generation of thermal barriers consisting of lightweight glass-reinforced nylon, according to a release.
