Sealant Equipment & Engineering Inc., Plymouth, Mich., introduced 2200-545 Series adjustable stroke mix-dispense valves for controlled flow of two-component adhesives and sealants such as silicones, epoxies, urethanes and acrylics. No-Drip fluid-control design integrates carbide ball-end needles with carbide seats for dispensing low viscosity abrasive materials. The adjustable stroke feature allows the operator to fine-tune the flow rate of the adhesive dispensing by rotating the threaded stem on the back of the valve. Measuring 2.25 inches in diameter by 5.5-inches in length, the valves are rated for 3,500 pounds per square inch. They can be used to dispense two-part silicone backbedding materials in the construction of windows, and to apply two-part adhesives and sealants for bonding, gasketing, coating, potting and filling processes.
