Bendheim, Passaic, N.J., has collaborated with Robert A.M. Stern Architects and OmniDécor of Italy to create the Robert A.M. Stern Collection for Bendheim. Designed for partition walls, doors and windows, shower enclosures, building facades and decorative features, the collection includes four etched pattern glasses offering varying levels of obscuration: Aria, Merletto, Staccato and Trattini. The permanent etched glass surfaces are non-coated and naturally resistant to fingerprints and staining. The collection is produced on ultra-clear low-iron float glass and can contribute points to LEED v.3: EA Credit 1 “Optimize Energy Performance” and IEQ Credits 8.1 and 8.2 “Daylight & Views.” The glass is available in three standard thicknesses: ¼ inch (6 millimeters), 3/8 inch (10 mm) and ½ inch (12 mm) and in sheets up to 88.5 inches by 126 inches (225 centimeters by 320 cm). Additional thicknesses and colors are available.
