AkzoNobel, Columbus, Ohio, will show two new products: Acra-Bond 611 and Polydure E. For projects that need the look of anodized with the benefits of a high-performance painted finish, Acra-Bond 611 fills both requirements. A factory applied painted finish gives extra benefits that anodized can't match, such as field repairability, color consistency and chemical resistance, according to a company release. Polydure E is an environmentally-friendly high solids polyester for the residential and light commercial markets, and beats increased volatile organic compounds and hazardous air pollutants restrictions.
