Fire-rated glass

Flower City Glass now offers residential and commercial, UL-approved, fire-rated glass. The company has been authorized by Underwriters Laboratory to cut and label Vetrotech Keralite fire-rated glass, which offers 20 minutes to 90 minutes of resistance to heat transfer, according to the supplier. Keralite’s clear appearance preserves light transmission and visibility. Flower City Glass offers Keralite FR-F, Keralite FR-L and Keralite FR-R for safetyrated openings, sidelite and borrowed lite applications. According to Flower City Glass officials, the company can process orders in-house for delivery in two-to-five days.
