Lamatek now offers DrainFlash and NextFlash self-adhered flashing from Adchem Corp., www.adchem.com. The flashing utilizes proven and durable acrylic adhesive technology to provide a moisture- and vapor-proof barrier for window and door installations. The highly conformable system is lightweight, clean, easy to apply below 20 degrees Fahrenheit and has demonstrated excellent sealant compatibility, according to a Lamatek release. DrainFlash is a patent-pending system that adds a non-directional drain field to the surface of the flashing system, allowing a path for water and moisture to drain and for air to dry in the critical building interfaces of windows and doors. It is stocked in standard widths and can be supplied in custom sizes up to 60 inches wide.
