Wagner Architectural Systems introduced the SlipFit Bracket system for glass railings. This system greatly simplifies installation of handrails to glass balustrades, according to a company release. A precision machined hub and internal clamping mechanism accept a 1 ¼-inch pipe to create an aesthetically pleasing handrail. The rail needs only an approximate cut, as the hub allows for length variation without performance degradation. The SlipFit System allows for many bracket configurations. It can be used for drilled glass and in between balustrades to reduce lead time and cost of glass fabrication, and is compatible with many of the standard Wagner brackets used throughout the industry.
