Glass revolving door

Boon Edam Inc., Lillington, N.C., introduced a transparent revolving door made almost entirely of glass. The Crystal TQ utilizes a combination of tempered and laminated safety glass to minimize, or in some places eliminate, the traditional metal framing of the door. The door, available in a three-wing or four-wing configuration, is made from ½-inch tempered glass connected to the center shaft with specially made stainless steel clamps. The tempered laminated glass ceiling is fixed to the curved laminated glass side walls with small, unobtrusive clamps. The door is available in a wide range of sizes and works for contemporary glass facades and classic architectural styles.
