Lassen Scientific Inc. of Redding, Calif., developed the patent-pending WorkFlow hardhat cooling system. It has a computer controlled turbine fan that cycles on and off creating air flow that evacuates the hot, humid air in the hardhat. The system attaches to most short- and long-brim hardhats and comes with rechargeable batteries and wall adapter.
