Hurricane-rated automatic sliding doors

Horton Automatics, Corpus Christi, Texas, expanded its line of hurricane-rated automatic sliding door systems to include the heavy duty HD-Storm series for wind pressures up to ±80 pounds per square foot. The doors come in a range of configurations for commercial buildings and feature a narrow stile design, heavy duty 6-inch-by-8-inch header with steel reinforced tubes in the lead rails, and three-point locking system. Product width ranges from 7 feet to 14 feet, and customers choose from muntin-style or full-frame glass panels for small-missile, large-missile and non-impact rated applications. All systems meet Miami-Dade County and State of Florida impact and pressure requirements, according to a company release.
