Hybrid glazing tape
Manufacturer of pressure-sensitive adhesive tape systems, Adchem Corp., Riverhead, N.Y., launched the HF hybrid glazing tape line. The American Architectural Manufacturers Association-approved tape consists of a 1/16-inch thick cross-linked closed-cell polyethylene foam coated on both sides with a high performance acrylic adhesive system on the liner side for glass bonding and an aggressive rubber based adhesive system on the exposed side for bonding to vinyl lineals. The tape has an easy-release, high-density blue polyethylene release liner. White HFW 295PE and black HFB 295PE come in 72-yard log rolls up to 60 inches wide. The HF series also is packaged in slit sizes.
