Impact-resistant doors
Officials from Oldcastle Glass, Santa Monica, Calif., announced that subsidiary Vistawall Group's Vistawall Architectural Products, Terrell, Texas, developed the StormMax MSD-375 impact-resistant entrance door to meet South Florida and International Building Codes. The medium stile door has MIG, or metal inert gas, welded-corner construction and a three-point lock mechanism. It features 13Ú4-inch rail and stile, 43Ú4-inch vertical stile, 4-inch top rail and 9-inch bottom rail. Options include panic devices, continuous gear hinge and concealed overhead closer. StormMax MSD-375 doors can be used with StormMax FG-5000 and FG-5100 storefront systems and StormMax HR-250 and HR-251 curtain wall systems.
