Mini-cranes

Maeda USA, Houston, introduced attachments to its line of mini-cranes, including the Oktopus Panel Vacuum Lifter. Suitable for glazing installation, the mini-cranes are available with capacities ranging from 3,800 pounds to 10,800 pounds, with lift heights up to 68 feet. The cranes can fit through openings as small as 24 inches. The vacuum lifter can lift panels up to 660 pounds, with a rotation range of 95 degrees, a swivel range of plus or minus 40 degrees, and a tilt range of 120 degrees, according to a release.
