Muntin bar tape and setting blocks
Supplier of foam tapes and gaskets for fenestration markets, Lamatek Inc., West Deptford, N.J., created LSE-SDL, a low surface-energy simulated divided light muntin tape system, and Eco-Blocks.
LSE-SDL, developed specifically for Kynar 500 flouropolymer, Vitrasil acrylic polyester and powder coated finishes, provides long-term indoor and outdoor adhesion to a range of window substrates including easy-to-clean and self cleaning glass, according to a company release. It also bonds to cellular polyvinyl chloride, vinyl, primed and unprimed wood, plastic, and painted aluminum muntin bars. LSE-SDL is .032-inch thick and comes in black only.
Eco-Blocks replace conventional rubber or polyvinyl chloride setting blocks. Made from a proprietary post-consumer rubber blend specifically developed for this application, the blocks are compatible with glazing and insulating glass sealants. Eco-Blocks can be ordered with or without adhesive, kiss-cut on 3-inch cores. They also come without adhesive, die-cut and bulk packaged in cartons.
