Designed for the North American market, it is a transformerless, grid-tie inverter for commercial system installations, according to a company release. The technology converts raw direct current from solar-cell arrays to high-quality alternating current grid electricity. With its patented, soft-switching technology and robust controls, the inverter achieves 97 percent California Energy Commission efficiency and is National Recognized Testing Laboratories certified to UL 1741, according to the release.
