The 400 Series Premier Drained/Back-Ventilated Rainscreen System from C.R. Laurence is designed to protect buildings against harsh weather conditions in all seasons, accommodating expansion and contraction without warping and stressing the panels. The design features an optional inner aluminum panel system that eliminates the need to install a weather-resistant barrier prior. In addition to passing static water resistance testing, the 400 Series has passed the Seismic Horizontal Displacement Parallel Delta M Test, according to a company release. The rainscreen system is available with aluminum and metal composite panel material manufactured by Alpolic and Reynobond, as well as 1/8-inch aluminum plate. A wide range of finish options are available such as powder paint, Kynar paint and Lumiflon paint.
