Lumicor of Renton, Wash., launched recycled resin products containing up to 100 percent recycled materials: Recycled Glass R4, Lumiclear R4, Lumiguard R4, Lumiform R4. The Recycled Glass R4 design, Mixed Bottles, Lumicor’s newest Recycled Glass R4 design, is 100 percent recycled glass and contains a mix of blue, green, brown and clear pieces. The other Recycled Glass R4 designs contain 60 percent recycled content, available in 12 colors. Lumiclear R4, consisting of 50 percent recycled material, offers clarity and ultraviolet protection. Lumiguard R4 contains up to 30 percent recycled material and is mostly used for countertop, tabletop, kitchen and bath applications. Lumiform R4, with up to 40 percent recycled material, has low flammability and high-impact resistance. R4 products help earn credits toward U.S. Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design certification in the MR 4.1 & 4.2 Recycled Content, according to a company release. Lumicor products can be recycled or reused, earning credits for MR 2.1 & 2.2 Construction Waste Management.
