Plymouth, Mich.-based Sealant Equipment and Engineering Inc. launched the Servo-Flo 401 Series servo-motor drive meter system. It applies small precision beads and small precisely metered shots of adhesives, sealants or lubricants from 1 cubic centimeter to 8.5 cubic centi-meters in robotic and manual dispensing applications, according to a company release. It can be used for dispensing one-part silicone in window sealant fabrication applications, and for other thixo-tropic and cohesive materials such as epoxies, urethanes and heat or ambient cure materials. The Servo-Flo 401 control provides a range of preset material-dispensing profiles and will dispense different material volumes for various part configurations.
