Single-tire glass truck

F. Barkow Inc. will display a Barkow Model P212-S on a Ford F450 Chassis Cab with Certified Super Single rear tires. The stainless steel, 12-foot glazing body features all-welded construction, 10 Stake-Loc self-locking stakes and a cantilevered metal carrier for stock lengths. Ford has effectively been out of the glazing truck business for 15 years, but the innovation of the certified super single tire allows the use of Ford trucks for medium-duty glass transportation, according to the exhibitor. Officials say Barkow also will have a “mystery truck” on display. Booth 255.
