PPG Industries will feature Solarban 72 Starphire solar-control, low-E glass that provides a high level of visible light transmittance, and excellent clarity and solar control. The company will also show neutral-reflective, low-E Solarban R100 glass, as well as Clarvista shower glass that, with regular maintenance, retains its original appearance longer than other shower glass products, according to a company release. For residential window manufacturers, PPG will exhibit a new dual-coat technology for dual-pane insulating glass units featuring Solarban 70XL and Sungate 500 glasses. The technology helps manufacturers produce windows that achieve a center-of-window R-value of 5.0 and meet new building code mandates for energy efficiency. Booth 1201.
