Spacer bar

Saint-Gobain will exhibit the SSG Swisspacer, a thermally optimized spacer bar made from a highly insulating composite material. Thin metal membranes guarantee air and gas tightness, as well as excellent adhesion for all insulating glass sealing compounds, according to the exhibitor. Swisspacer matches the shape and dimensions of aluminum spacers, and being rigid and self-supporting, it handles in a similar way. Swisspacer is suitable for all types of IG units, as well as roof glazing or curtain-wall facades where it is exposed to high thermal and mechanical loads. Swisspacer is available in 17 colors.
