Forster thermfix vario curtain wall

During the AIA 2010 National Convention and Design Exposition, June 10-12, in Miami, Kawneer Co., Norcross, Ga., featured new products, including Steel Framing Systems from Forster and the AA3350 Isoport Window. As a result of a recently announced partnership agreement with Forster Profile Systems, Switzerland, Kawneer now offers interior and exterior steel and stainless steel framing systems for fire-rated and non-rated applications. Steel framing systems such as the Forster fuego light door in the Forster thermfix vario curtain wall, are available in multiple sizes and finishes, and provide fire protection and a barrier to radiant heat.

The AA 3350 Isoport Window, provides views and energy efficiency, and is available in single-hung, double-hung or fixed, with a polyamide thermal break design and factory glazing. Integrated extruded lift rails eliminate the need for surface-applied hardware, making sight lines sleek and appealing, according to a company release.
