Storefront and curtain-wall estimating

Building Envelope Software Technologies (BEST) announced it will demonstrate several new enhancements to its software portfolio at GlassBuild America. PrefWeb II allows users to create storefront and curtain-wall estimates directly over the Internet. This negates the requirement for glaziers to have software on their local computers—only an Internet connection is needed. Participating manufacturers can provide their glazing client community with up-to-the-minute pricing and engineering, according to the exhibitor. The company also will demonstrate LogiKal version 8, featuring new dual-screen capability and dynamic visual phase creation. Additionally, BEST will show the new PrefSuite 2012 Master Production Scheduling module. The MPS allows single and multi-plant scheduling to automatically shift loads on complete orders, partial orders or individual products based on user defined criteria. Booth 763.
