De Gorter, Monroe, N.C., offers the Schiatti Angelo FPS50M3 straight grinding machine, capable of handling glass thicknesses ranging from 3 millimeters to 55 mm. The machine has a graphic programmable logic controller that displays and controls the axes displacement according to the thickness and angle users wish to obtain. Other functions controlled via the PLC are the production speed, timing of the polishing spindles and the dubbing device.
