Technoform Bautec will introduce new profiles added to its standard offering of structural insulating strip shapes. Constructed of polyamide 6.6 with 25 percent glass fiber content, the insulating strip provides a high degree of thermal performance and structural integrity, according to a company release. The product features an expansion and contraction rate equal to aluminum, thermal conductivity rates 700 times lower than aluminum, and structural properties that exceed those of many other thermoplastics available, according to company representatives.
