Micro-grid shims

New structural shims are now available from Grove Products. The micro-grid shims have interlocking textured surfaces to improve shim-to-shim friction when stacked, helping to resist lateral shifting of shims under load. They are initially available in sizes of 4 inches by 6 inches, in thicknesses ranging from 1/16 inch up to ½ inch. The micro-grid shims can be stacked to adjust heights with compressive strengths up to 6000 PSI, according to a release.The large flat-plate shims, measuring 8 inches by 8 inches by 1inch thick, are designed to bear large, heavy loads, with strengths up to 4,000 PSI available.
