Schott introduced the tempered Schott Narima, a thermally-tempered, weather-resistant version of its color effects safety glass Narima. Just like the original Narima glass, Schott Tempered Narima offers six color variations that change according to the angle of the sun and where a person is standing, but it now extends application possibilities for architects and designers, according to a company release. In an insulated window configuration, tempered Narima can be used for the exterior panel to create color effects, and it is suited for building fins. The glass can be used for façade glazing, without requiring additional protection, and it can be used in interior applications including doors and panels where safety glass is required.
