Terrace doors with handicap option

Moduline Window Systems, Wausau, Wis., will unveil its Terra Swing series of architectural terrace doors with a handicap sill option. The sill is designed into the threshold of the opening and the raised exterior/interior heights allow for easy wheel chair exit and entry, according to a company release. Developed for offices and condominiums, the door offers security and thermal performance for U.S. Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design certification. It has European-designed multipoint locking options, distinctive handle/ escutcheon plate sets and deadbolt locking options. The handles are forged solid brass, and incorporate a Resista finish offering strength, durability and a blemish-free surface. The door comes in two framing depths, 31⁄4-inches and 41⁄2-inches, and is modularly compatible with single- and dual-color Moduline operating vents and window wall systems. The door accommodates glass thicknesses up to 11⁄2 inches and can be factory glazed with integral blinds for privacy and sound abatement. Anodized and organic polyvinylidene fluoride paint finishes are available. Moduline Window Systems
