XLG, Dallas-based product design studio, in collaboration with Joel Berman Glass Studios International Ltd., Vancouver, British Columbia, developed the Intersect glass design with a repeating pattern of crossed lines on a lightly textured background. Patterned glass panels are available in sizes up to 50 inches wide by 105 inches long, and in thicknesses of 1⁄4 inch, 3⁄8 inch, 1⁄2 inch, 5⁄8 inch and 3⁄4 inch. They come in clear float and low iron versions that reduce the green cast inherent in standard clear float glass. Finishes include stock colors, custom colors, and sandblast, 10 percent to 100 percent frosted. Safety treatment options include tempered, laminated, or tempered and laminated.
