Thermal low-E glass

Asahi Glass Co. launched two new ecoglass products: Sunbalance Aqua Green and Sunbalance Pure Clear. The high-thermal insulating, low-emissivity glass will be produced at the company's plant in Kashima, Japan. Compared to existing Sunbalance series ecoglass products, the new glasses offer better energy performance, thereby reducing heating and cooling loads; as well as higher visible light transmission, reducing dependence on artificial lighting, according to a release.
