Tilt and turn mechanism

Orlando, Fla.-based American Douglas Metals Inc. and Savio S.p.A. of Italy will introduce the Ribanta Incanto. It is a hardware mechanism for tilt and turn windows that has concealed hinges for Euro-groove profiles. The mechanism is suitable for a wide range of applications, with 67-inch maximum width and 110-inch maximum height. It allows free rotation of the sash up to a maximum of 110 degrees, and has a lock-release system from sash to frame using a clip mechanism preassembled into the slotted guide. Having the hinges inside eliminates cutting the interior bulb gasket, improving overall window performance including wind/water penetration, and sound absorption, according to the release. It can be adjusted in three directions: lateral adjustment on both the top and bottom hinges, vertical adjustment by a preassembled screw, and closing pressure adjustment by the fixed support block of the tilt and turn hinge.American Douglas Metals Inc. and Savio S.p.A.
