Tilting ball caster transfer tables

The Sommer & Maca Machinery Division of C. R. Laurence Co., Los Angeles, introduced a series of Tilting Ball Caster Transfer tables for the safe transition of glass panels during loading, unloading and various process steps. These powered tilting tables are ideal for the transfer of single glass lites or insulating glass units, according to a release. Made in the United States, they can be manufactured in a variety of sizes to suit individual needs and floor plans. Options available include manual vertical roller toes, a motorized vertical edge roller system and suction cups to hold an I.G. unit stationary during sealing or spacer application.

A typical tilt table is equipped with edge roller toes that allow for the vertical transfer of product and ball casters that allow for lateral transfers. The casters are 2-inch diameter spherical balls that will not mark or scratch the glass.

Also available are Fixed-Top Ball Caster Transfer tables in a variety of sizes. These tables can be supplied with operator inspection or equipment cutouts.
