Tool change systems

AXYZ International, Burlington, Ontario, will showcase the 21G and 7G Automatic Tool Change Systems for the AXYZ Series CNC router system. The new 21G and 7G ATCs feature tool changes of 30 seconds or less, the capability to load tools on multiple spindle machines from a single tool changer and software that allows for flexible tool assignments, letting the user load and customize up to 999 tool assignments. In addition, the ATCs change tools from below the level of the table, increasing the usable area of the machine gantry without increasing its size or interfering with loading and unloading of materials from any side of the machine. The 21G tool changer system includes 21 positions in the tool carousel, and the 7G tool changer system includes seven positions in the carousel. Each ATC system includes an auto tool length sensor.
