Vacuum lifter with integrated hoist

Wood’s Powr-Grip of Laurel, Mont., will unveil its PR49AIRS vacuum lifter with integrated hoist. The air-powered lifter has a 400-pound lifting capacity, features 180-degree rotation and accommodates a 2-inch thick load at full weight capacity. It has a vacuum gauge and a green lift light that indicates adequate vacuum level. When sufficient vacuum is achieved, the air-powered system automatically shuts off to conserve air and reduce noise. A blow-off capability is included in the vacuum system means quick and clean release of the load. For safety, both right and left vacuum release buttons must be actuated simultaneously to release the load. An integrated vacuum reserve system provides vacuum for a short period, allowing safe disposition of the load in case of power failure. The lifter comes with vacuum and pressure line filters, spring-mounted vacuum pads and an adjustable lift point, allowing the user to optimize the load’s hang angle. Wood’s Powr-Grip
