White opaque PVB interlayer

Polar White

Saflex, unit of Solutia Inc., both of St. Louis, added Polar White, an opaque PVB-based interlayer, to its Vanceva White Collection. With light transmittance of 8 percent and uniform color, it can be used as a single layer in glass laminate and combined with any Vanceva color system interlayers and clear Saflex interlayers. Polar White comes in 0.015-inch thickness and suits commercial and residential, interior and exterior applications.
