Drying system
The Jet-Stream Q-Series Quartz Drying System from A.W.T. World Trade, Chicago, offers a means of achieving long lasting adhesion of ink to materials.
The drying system excels in customized curing of evaporative and thermal-set inks with high-temperature requirements. By combining state-of-the-art quartz heating technology with variable air recirculation and ambient inline cooling, the system offers flexibility and control of curing conditions for a wide range of inks and coatings. High-efficiency quartz-tube heating chambers, touch screen controls, and a pneumatic roof lift make the system both easy to operate and maintain. High-velocity ambient air helps cool glass down for faster handling and packaging. The heating and cooling sections are modular, giving glass manufacturers the flexibility to create a custom drying system that suits their particular requirements.
Equipped with high-energy quartz tubes that instantly raise the temperature of ink solids to the required curing level, up to 450 degrees Fahrenheit, drying is enhanced by a fully adjustable air recirculation/exhaust system that creates even heat distribution via forced-air “jet streams” and expels saturated air.
The Jet-Stream Q-Series is available in conveyor widths of 48 inches, 60 inches, 80 inches and 102 inches. Custom sizes also are available. Each system comes with A.W.T.’s exclusive Remote Diagnostics for fast troubleshooting and service regardless.
