Akron, Ohio-based Automated Window Machinery introduced the AMP-C255-H automated multistation fabrication center. Unitized curtain wall manufacturers can now fabricate multiple features on a pair of mating vertical mullions simultaneously, reducing cycle time and improving accuracy, according to a company release. The machine has independently controlled punching stations and a quick-change die system to allow multiple-part configurations and punching options. Each punch station has its own self-contained hydraulic system and digital position read-out, and a touch-screen PC controls the entire system. The system can be customized.
