Gas fill detector

PBI-Dansensor America Inc., Glen Rock, N.J., is now supplying the Check Point portable O2 analyzer to calculate gas fill in insulating glass units. The device measures oxygen in a unit, allowing glass companies to calculate the percentage of argon or krypton needed or achieved. Check Point features a compact and ergonomic design, and runs on four AA batteries that last for a minimum of 2500 measurements. Accuracy is ± 0.2 percent when the O2 range is 0 percent to 10 percent, and ± 2 percent in the range of 10 percent to 100 percent. The electrochemical device is easy to calibrate and includes a two button atmospheric offset. A memory function stores the nine most recent measurements. Check Point comes with a carrying case. Also available is Check Point II, a portable analyzer with data logging and computer download capabilities, and optional bar code scanner.
