Multicolor screen printing line

On request of Trakya Cam Bulgaria EAD, Bulgarian Targovishte, Thieme GmbH & Co. KG developed and delivered a tri-color screen printing line for flat glass for white goods or appliance applications. The line consists of three interlinked single-color systems that also can be operated independently. The three Thieme 3000 GS screen printing stations are integrated into a 45-meter long, fully automatic inline production line.

The application options of the line are customer specified and diverse. Print applications include oven auxiliary lights, microwave door windows and displays for household appliances. The line has a maximum printing format of 950-millimeter-by-650-mm and a minimum printing format of 80-mm-by-250-mm. Special sensors are integrated in a way that panels with drilled holes also can be transported without disturbance. Independent of panel format, the range for glass panel thickness is 3 mm to 8 mm.

The printing stations offer, in addition to a high positioning accuracy, an operator-friendly glass panel automatic setup feature from the operator console. The Thieme squeegee unit that rotates 90 degrees and the anti-drip device to prevent print streaks guarantees optimal printing quality.
