StrainScope

ilis develops, produces and distributes software solutions, measuring systems and automated test equipment for quality assurance in the glass industry. At glasstec, the company will demonstrate its BatchMaker and Prisma software for simple and reliable calculation of batch recipes and glass properties, as well as for transmission and color measurement. It also will promote its StrainMatic imaging polarimeter systems for the measurement of stress birefringence in glass and plastic, as well as the digital polariscope StrainScope. The latter makes it possible to measure residual stress in glass products precisely and in real time, either as a sample test or online in the process, according to the exhibitor.
