Sentech Promotes Richard Kaire and Steve Ducotey

In response to Sentech’s continued growth, the company promoted Richard Kaire to director of engineering and design, and Steve Ducotey to director of technology.

Richard Kaire

Richard Kaire joined Sentech in 2013 as a project engineer, was later promoted to lead engineer and most recently, engineering manager. In his new role as director of engineering and design, Kaire will be responsible for the collective operations and direction of the design and engineering department, bringing his deep experience and leadership to drive continued engineering excellence, design creativity and technological innovation that has defined Sentech for over 15 years.

Kaire brings deep experience in engineering and façade design, and has led engineering and design efforts of Sentech’s most complex structural glass systems. He specializes in seismic facade design, non-linear finite element contact analysis and staged analysis. Kaire is a registered professional engineer in over 20 states, and a registered structural engineer in Illinois and Washington.

Steve Ducotey

Steve Ducotey joined Sentech in 2016 as the director of engineering and design, leading Sentech’s teams through a high growth period and driving some of Sentech’s most complex engineering and design efforts to-date. Prior to joining Sentech, Ducotey served as the vice president of engineering at Conservatek Industries, and later as the vice president of engineering at CST Covers, with a combined 30-plus years in the engineering field.

In his new role as director of technology, Ducotey will leverage his experience, engineering prowess, understanding of the structural glass landscape and leadership within Sentech to drive all product development, system automation, technology innovation, and R&D efforts to ensure that Sentech stays at the forefront of technology and innovation. Ducotey is a registered professional engineer.
