Atlas Copco introduced its new screw vacuum pumps, the GHS 3800-5400 VSD+ vacuum pump series. The series significantly reduces energy consumption, according to the company. Optimized in the coarse printing area, the pumps have an adaptive high-performance variable speed drive with pressure setpoint control. The product also features state-of-the-art three-stage oil separation for ultrapure exhaust air over operating ranges from atmosphere to 5 megabars final pressure, according to the company.
