Equipment supporting the production of foamed and cellular glass aggregate is being offered from the GlassWRX facility in Beaufort, South Carolina, providing processors and materials companies access to a recently commissioned, integrated system.
About the equipment
The offering includes key equipment installed in 2020 and configured for continuous production using recycled glass feedstock. Systems available include Andela glass pulverizing lines, Keith kilns and furnaces, drying and screening equipment, conveying systems, and bulk bagging infrastructure, along with supporting plant and mobile equipment.
Assets are being marketed through a combination of negotiated sale opportunities and a scheduled online-only webcast auction, allowing for both individual equipment purchases and larger package acquisitions. The layout and integration of the system also present potential for buyers to acquire complete process lines or evaluate operate-in-place scenarios.
Foamed glass aggregate is used across lightweight fill, insulation, and infrastructure applications, with demand continuing to grow as producers look for alternatives to traditional aggregates.
Inspection is available by appointment, with remaining assets scheduled for webcast auction on March 31.
“Opportunities like this don’t come around often,” says Jody Bacqué, executive vice president of strategic partnerships at Perfection Global. “This is a modern, purpose-built system designed around recycled glass feedstock, with the kind of throughput and process control you’d expect from a much larger platform. For groups already in recycling or looking to expand into lightweight aggregate, it offers a practical way to step into that market without starting from scratch.”
