Brin Glass Company Names Priscilla Koeckeritz President

KoeckeritzBrin Glass Co.appointed Priscilla Koeckeritz as President. This change follows Bill Sullivan's seven-year tenure as president and CEO. Sullivan will continue to serve as CEO and chairman of Brin Glass Co. in 2024, with Koeckeritz slated to step into the CEO role within two years.

According to a company release, Sullivan's leadership skills and unwavering perseverance guided the team through unprecedented challenges, including those posed by the global pandemic. His ability to forge enduring relationships with clients, co-workers, and vendors has been a cornerstone of the company's resilience. Having joined the company in 1984, Sullivan served in various roles before being named President in 2016 and later CEO in 2019.

“We’ve been preparing for a leadership transition for some time,” says Sullivan. “I’ve literally been talking about retiring in two-four years for five years. We started building leadership structure in 2020 – bringing our senior leadership together in stronger collaboration. PK (as Koeckeritz is known around the company) joined us soon after and we quickly saw the impact her business acumen had on our operations and people strategies.”

Koeckeritz's experience

Koeckeritz joined Brin as chief operating officer in 2022 after serving as a fractional chief marketing officer since 2021. She brings unique business experience to Brin. As COO, she played a pivotal role in designing and implementing operational policies that fostered growth, strengthened company culture, and developed talent within the Brin family of companies. Prior to joining Brin, Koeckeritz spent 25 years in the Twin Cities business community working in start-ups and consulting with small businesses.

Koeckeritz's appointment marks a historic moment as the first female president in the company's 100 plus-year history and only the seventh president in the history of the Brin Glass family of companies.

“When I joined Brin, it was for the opportunity to develop the next generation of business leaders and help an established company get to the next level,” says Koeckeritz. “I’m not a glass industry expert, so my focus is on building people and teams.”
