Zebrano Wood Grain Designs have been added to GGI's Alice Direct to Glass Ready-to-Print collection, offering architects and designers a superior alternative to natural wood. Zebrano Expresso, Macchiato, Chocolate and Mocachino provide the aesthetic of natural wood but without the sanding, straining and ongoing maintenance required. The ceramic frit application makes it ideal for interior or exterior applications. The scale, color and opacity can be customized for a one-of-a-kind finish on an ultra-clear low-iron glass or low-iron, satin-etched substrate for an easy-to-clean, durable surface material. 

Protect-X is the latest addition to the Protect lineup of protective glazing from Glassopolis. Protect-X is a specialty glass that protects against X-rays and radiation. It’s used in medical and security scanning facilities, and it is available in several different safety formats, including filmed and laminated, and can be tailored to the customer’s exact needs. From Glassopolis, it’s in stock and available for quick shipment.

Eastman, in partnership with SEEN AG, introduced a new polyvinyl butyral interlayer for laminated glass: Saflex FlySafe 3D, to avoid bird collisions without compromising on the view or beauty of glass façades. The interlayer features three-dimensional, reflective sequins between two layers of glass and can be combined with selective coatings and other Saflex products to enhance the glass further. The sequin pattern covers less than one percent of the glass area.
