During GlassBuild America, ReachMaster will show a range of its Winlet Glass Manipulator installation tools. Winlet models 1265, 1730 and 2200 are fully hydraulic with a self-leveling gyro feature, keeping the load linear at any angle. Winlet models 770, 1320 and Winlet 770TH are partly hydraulic. The quality scanning device detects the common occurrence of white haze or roller abrasion micro-scratches in glass that may occur during the heat strengthening or tempering process. The device is positioned at the exit of the tempering furnace and, using darkfield light channel scanning technology, is able to detect this type of surface area defect and quantify it according to customer standards and requirements. Booth #845
