Glass Solutions Inc. promoted Jacob Gurke, who previously held the role of controller since joining the GSI team in January 2021, to chief financial officer.
During his time with GSI, Gurke spearheaded the implementation of a new ERP system, developed simplified reporting platforms for more project finance transparency, and cultivated a new accounting team. He is an innovative leader, aiming to strategically lead GSI in achieving its goals. An integral asset to each division of GSI, he helps to optimize performance and make strategic adjustments to achieve growth and optimal profitability.
Leading up to his time at GSI, Gurke accumulated more than 13 years of experience as an accountant, controller and CFO and maintains extensive knowledge of tax and financial accounting.
