ActivWall's Folding Window was used at the Courtyard by Marriott in Gainesville, Georgia. This six-panel folding window product is used for an indoor bar. The product measures 238 inches wide and 54 inches tall. The window is designed in a 3L-3R configuration. With a simple slide, the entire bar unfolds to an outdoor patio, bringing together the indoors and outdoors.
“The sliding windows have completely transformed our bar setup. They allow for a seamless indoor-outdoor experience and elevate the guest interaction. We couldn’t be happier with the design and functionality,” says Lina Herrera, food and beverages director for the hotel.
From a service perspective, the folding window allows bartenders and servers to pass food and drinks directly to patio guests, eliminating extra steps and enhancing efficiency. For guests, it allows better connection to the outdoors and to the people around them. This flexibility maximizes functionality.
