PDS IG announced that EcoGlass, a glass fabricator based in Medley, Florida, has successfully implemented the Vertical PVB Trimmer in its laminated glass production line.
About the PVB Trimmer
The Vertical PVB Trimmer, developed by PDS IG, is designed to automatically remove excess interlayer material found on laminated glass. It is capable of fully trimming a one square meter laminated glass panel in under 45 seconds. Since its adoption in the first quarter of 2025, EcoGlass has experienced gains in throughput and efficiency. The installation has streamlined production at EcoGlass, resulting in faster throughput, reduced labor requirements and safer day-to-day operations on the factory floor.
