Görkem Elverici has resigned as CEO of Şişecam, according to a post he made on LinkedIn.
In part of his post, Elverici writes, "I have full faith and confidence that Şişecam will continue to achieve even greater successes by drawing its strength from your determination and perseverance. Although I will be watching your development journey from a distance, my heart will always be with Şişecam and you. I will be with you whenever you need me, as I always have."
Moving forward
According to Şişecam's website, Can Yücel was appointed as CEO on May 1, 2025.Yücel has been a member of the Şişecam Board of Directors since January 3, 2022.
Şişecam has not made a formal announcement of Yücel's appointment or the reason for Elverici's resignation.
